Home Watch

Someone who knows your house, checking it on a schedule.

A 46-point visit inside and out, against a written profile of your home, with a same-day report. From once a month to twice a week in freeze season.

Second homes and seasonal residences across the Gorge.

What a visit includes

Forty-six checkpoints, inside and out.

Every house gets a profile at the walkthrough: where the shutoffs are, what the thermostat should read, which cabinets open before a freeze. Every visit checks against it. These are the items owners ask about most.

Heat and water

Thermostat read and photographed, furnace cycling confirmed, water heater and shutoff checked, every faucet run and every toilet flushed.

Freeze protocol

Cabinet doors opened, hose bibs covered and exterior lines shut off, propane and pressure-tank readings logged. Full winterizing is coordinated with your plumber.

Same-day report

Readings, time-stamped photos, what we did, and anything that needs your decision, with a one-word reply so you can approve work by text.

Mail, packages, deliveries

Brought in and photographed. Flyers cleared from the door, because a stuffed door says "empty" to anyone walking by.

Contractor and vendor access

Plumber, propane, snow removal, the gutter crew. We let them in, confirm the scope, photograph before and after, and lock up when they're done. Two short visits, not a day on site.

A dated record for your insurer

Every visit filed to your property log. If a claim ever comes, you can show when the home was inspected, by whom, and what they found.

Plans

Two plans, one cadence conversation.

Cadence runs from monthly to twice weekly. We set it with you at the walkthrough, based on your policy's requirements and how long you're away, and we adjust it by season.

November through March

Add-ons

Per task or per month, added to either plan.

  • Priority Response: sensors installed, alerts answered, storm checks included. Limited to ten homes.
  • Seasonal prep: winterizing with your plumber, filters, detectors, hoses
  • Gutter cleaning before and after leaf season
  • Window and glass cleaning for view homes
  • Automatic shutoff valve coordination with your plumber
  • Anything on the Concierge list

Pricing follows the walkthrough rather than a rate card, because a 1,400-square-foot cabin and a 5,000-square-foot view home with a hot tub are not the same visit. You'll have a written quote before you commit to anything.

Gorge Keep is a scheduled inspection service, not a security or emergency response service. Visits happen on your schedule and within the response windows in your agreement, and you're told the same day when something needs your decision.
